Berthed at Nauticus in Downtown Norfolk, the Battleship Wisconsin is one of the largest and last Battleship ever built by the U.S. Navy. Explore the ship through a self-guided tour or, take one or both guided tours! One tour shows you Fire and Engine room #1 in the “Life in the Engine Room” tour which takes you down to the 7th deck and you see 2 of the 8 massive boilers of the ship or you can travel up to the O5 level and along the way see spaces of the ship like the Captains In port Cabin, CEC and the Pilot House on the “Command & Control” tour. Both tours are an additional fee to the General Admission ticket. The added fee for the tours goes into preservation and restoration of the ship as well as interpretive educational programming. The Hampton Roads Naval Museum, an arm of the Naval History and Heritage Command in Washington DC is located on the second floor of Nauticus.
