She would be renamed 'South Park' in 1927, and finally 'Meteor' in 1942, when she was sold to the Cleveland Tanker Company, and converted to a tanker. It was at this time that she obtained the name Meteor, as Cleveland Tanker named their vessels after celestial bodies.
