Cavalla (SS-244) becomes museum

On 21 January 1971, Gato-class submarine, USS Cavalla (SS-244) was transferred to the Texas Submarine Veterans of World War II, and now resides at Seawolf Park on Pelican Island, just north of Galveston, Texas.
