USCGC Comanche transferred USCG
67 years ago today, on 1 June 1959 auxiliary ocean-going tug USS Wampanoag - (ATA-202) was struck from the Naval Vessel Register and officially transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard as the USCGC Comanche (WATA-202).
