USS Edson joins Intrepid museum
37 years ago today, on 30 June 1989, Forrest Sherman-class destroyer USS Edson (DD-946) became part of the Intrepid museum, New York, NY.
She left New York in June 2004 and is now the MuseumShip USS Edson in Bay City, MI.
