USS Rogers commissioned
81 years ago today, on 26 March 1945, Gearing-class destroyer USS Rogers (DD-876) was commissioned, Cmdr. C. B. Smiley in command.
She was transferred to South Korea as ROKS Jeon Ju (DD-925) on 25 July 1981.
