USS Rogers launched
81 years ago today, on 20 November 1944, Gearing-class destroyer USS Rogers (DD-876) was launched at Consolidated Steel Corporation, Orange, TX, sponsored by Mrs. Josie Viola Taylor Rogers,
She was transferred to South Korea as ROKS Jeon Ju (DD-925) on 25 July 1981, and is now a museum ship at SapKyoHo National Sightseeing Resort, located at Dangjin-Gun, Chung Nam Province, South Korea
