20mm loader Ralph Clark Huston Jr was wounded by enemy fire the day before during an egagement in which Cobia sank two targets with gunfire. He succumbs to his wounds and is buried at sea the on February 27 1945.

She was built as the USS Charette (DD-581), decommissioned on 15 January 1947, and transferred to the Hellenic Navy on 16 June 1959.
