USS New Jersey BB-62 commissioned
58 years ago today, on 6 April 1968 Iowa class Battleship USS New Jersey BB-62 was commissioned for the 3rd time at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard for Vietnam War service, with Capt. J. Edward Snyder in command.
